and final crowd scene. went back to what i did on bottom of pg2, with putting in silhouettes. that panel probably took the longest to figure out what i wanted to do on it since there was never any design for this arena (felt it out panel by panel). still looks terrible, but maybe cohesive?

had a lot of fun with Molly on this page; think i like her angry face too much (especially with her eyes in shadow and pupils in highlight). the close up of her face panel... originally, she was going to have a small box in the middle of Shedim's celebration panel, since i have a problem with placing characters so the box doesn't cut/bisect them at all, but that quickly grew into her face taking up the panel and playing with transparent layers over. i forgot why Shedim is rotated to be horizontal in the last panel; i think it was just for it to fit well and to look a little strange. think at one point, i did consider having Shedim as a reflection in her eye, but that was after i finished her face and didn't feel like chancing an eye close-up out doing the work on the face.

don't know if the text works... think i phoned it in with the shadows on this page... i liked the flow of the column down the center and it more serves its purpose. feel like my weakest point (out of plenty of weak points) is dialog... trying to convey character with minimum characters... and i want to use minimum since text takes space and i'd rather have the image
